Demographic and geospatial characterisation of app users
With the rise in the use of physical activity tracking apps and wearable devices the potential applications for research are great. However the suitability of said apps need further investigation and comparison to existing study designs before their utility can be determined.

Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) and Multiscale GWR are under-utilsied methods in the investigaton of built environment effects on physical activity. My dissertation aims to investigate the utility of these methods with open source environmental data and Strava cycling data.
